PETER MORRIS, PARTNER,
ALLFORD HALL MONAGHAN MORRIS ARCHITECTS, LONDON
Diana Daniel-Thomas joined AHMM in 2000 in the position of Company Accountant, at that time the sole accounting position within the company and remained with the practice for 9 years.
During that period Diana transformed the practice’s financial systems and reporting procedures, modernising the organisation in the process by single-handedly converting it from manuscript book-keeping to computer based accounts.
Diana’s professionalism, diligence and attention to detail were at all times complemented by an ability to get on well with everyone around her as well as a genuine personal commitment to the welfare of the company. She not only provided a bedrock of sound financial management within a relatively young practice, but just as importantly, was always willing to provide friendly advice on broader aspects of practice management based on her previous experiences elsewhere.
Diana saw the practice grow five fold in her time with AHMM and her discipline and work ethic, alongside the accuracy and timeliness of her work, were an example to all those who worked alongside her and acted as an important backbone for an evolving organisation.
Her innate loyalty and willingness to contribute to a business’s success beyond the strict limits of her role are rare qualities and I would not hesitate in recommending her services.
